Birthday!

Today was Angie's birthday and we went shopping in Des Moines! There's a new mall in West Des Moines called Jordan Creek and it is super nice. And...you know the best part about it!?? It has Chic-fil-A!!!!! They don't have those around here and I've been missing it like crazy...so the first thing I did when we got there was get a chicken sandwich and a mint cookies n' creme milk shake! Yum! It was wonderful. After we ate...we took off shopping. We shopped...and shopped...and shopped some more. I couldn't seem to find a whole lot...only came home with a couple of shirts and a pair of shoes. But...that's good...cuz I definitely need to be saving money. After we went shopping we ate at Olive Garden! Yum! Haven't been there forever either. It was scrumptous! The waitor was pretty cute too...that never hurts. We tipped him good. haha

Before we went home we stopped at the hospital to see a dear lady from our church that is sick. She's the sweetest, most godly woman I've ever known. She's so weak and in pain and all she did the whole time we were there was talk about the Lord and tell us how He has been so good to her. We sang her some songs and prayed with her...it was truly a blessing.

We didn't have too much trouble driving home after that...just a minor mishap with going the wrong way on a one way street...but other than that...no problems! :) It turned out to be a really good day and I'm thankful that Angie's my friend...she's the best!
