There are some really "special" people around here. Today I was working...and I had to do a cheese display. Yes...I was the person who smiled and said, "would you like to try a sample?". It was wonderful. I was displaying this swiss cheese that is imported from switzerland...it's expensive stuff. Anyway...this guy comes up and wants to try some. He takes a bite...and then proceeds to tell me all about how he grew up in Switzerland during WWII. Then I had one guy that came up and tried the cheese thinking it was pineapple. Boy did he get a surprise. Awww the pleasures of working at the deli.
Well...after work I went over to Angie's house because she was having a big BBQ. It was nice...there were a lot of people from church there. After we ate we played volleyball. That's where it got interesting. I was going to set a ball and I missed it...it went right between my hands and smashed my nose! So...I got a bloody nose...that was fun. I got it all over my hands and shirt...looked like I just got punched.
But...despite all of that...I'd say it was a pretty good day.
Until next time...

Oh, Taryn, that's awful 'bout your bloody nose! I've had a few incidents like that myself...one time my brother Titus and I were throwing the baseball, and well, I wasn't really paying any attention, and yep...hit me slap dab in the eye! It was hilarious though...after the fact of the swollen eye! AND THEN another time...just picking, I'm not going to go into all my mishaps...have enough of them!!!
Wishing you a magnifical day,
Char
